I am beyond excited to announce that the Spring Retreat 2023 in Bend, OR is officially on the books!

One of my favorite things about creating a weekend retreat is that I get to provide an experience for individuals to feel nourished and supported, mixed with some play and connection. This weekend will include home-made meals, yoga classes, an abundance of snacks and beverages, and free time! Plus a little gift to take home :)

A couple added notes:

* This will be a small group of 7-8 individuals. To provide ease, a negative Covid test will be required 24 hours prior to the weekend event

* I will take in to account dietary restrictions so that this event can be easily accessible to all participants

*rooms are shared by two, please feel free to invite a friend or family member

* what to bring and weekend itinerary will be provided at the beginning of March 2023

For the month of July, all Tuesday evenings, a fun strength and flow yoga class will be lead by myself with upbeat tunes provided by DJ Matthew Fullen! This will be outdoors in a backyard in North Portland near Kenton, OR.

TIME: 6:15pm- 7:30pm

COST: Drop in $30 or all four classes for $100

TO BRING: yoga mat, water, sunglasses or hat, sunscreen

Join Jen, Dani, and I for a cozy and nourishing afternoon where we will welcome the energy of summer in beautiful Boring, Oregon. We will be surrounded by nature while experiencing vinyasa and restorative yoga, acupuncture, and meditation followed by tea and delicious treats.

Summer is associated with the Fire element, the emotion of Joy, and the Heart organ system, so we will focus on nourishing the body in ways that can help us attune with this season through movement, energy work, rest, nature, and feel good treats.

Yoga for a Cause

The National Eating Disorders Association (NEDA) is the largest nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting individuals and families affected by eating disorders.

In the United States, 20 million women and 10 million men will suffer from an eating disorder at some point in their lives. Eating disorders are serious, life-threatening illnesses that affect all kinds of people, regardless of gender, ethnicity, size, age, or background. In fact, eating disorders have the second highest mortality rate of all mental health disorders, surpassed only by opioid addiction.

Eating disorders are widely misunderstood illnesses and support options are often inaccessible. As a result, too many people are left feeling helpless, hopeless, and frightened. Through our programs and services, NEDA raises awareness, builds communities of support and recovery, funds research, and puts life-saving resources into the hands of those in need.

 Please join us in a donation-based yoga for a cause class that I will lead at NOW Yoga PDX on N Williams. This will be a 90 min class that will include vinyasa, winding down with restorative shapes, and meditation. This class will encourage participants to honor where their body is, listen and feel into the shapes, invite in tenderness and appreciation for the body in all its forms, and have fun. Participants are encouraged to wear purple in support of NEDA. Suggested donation $30. If you are unable to attend, but feel inclined to support and donate, that is greatly appreciated. 100% of proceeds go to NEDA.
